APPROACHES TO TEACHING
The summer provides a unique opportunity to review a full year of material in a short period of time. This allows our expert teachers to link together parts of the syllabus that are often taught months apart during the academic year. By weaving together concepts and theories, you are able to see how the different elements of each subject fit together and develop a more comprehensive understanding.
You will complete subject questionnaires prior to arrival so we can identify your personal needs. Our specialist IB teachers then craft their class content to meet these needs.
You will reinforce your IB skills and subject understanding, which will result in better grades. All advice given is accurate and effective because every OSC teacher is up-to-date with teacher training, syllabus changes, and the approach to examining their subject.
At the end of each course, teachers prepare personalised reports which provide recommendations for continued improvement.
A summer spent with OSC will be full of fun, inspiring experiences, adventures in worldwide centres of culture and academia, and friendships formed with students from all over the world.
You will love experiencing campus life and exploring the city through a range of activities, including: attending cultural attractions, playing sports, and visiting amusement parks.
Our Welfare and Social Activity Team is available 24 hours a day to handle any issues that arise and to help you get the most out of your summer.
There’s also a unique opportunity for you to explore how the IB can support your future goals by attending the OSC University Fair.
